We have to slap hands on the '76!! Nobody else can understand Cat Stevens, Nights in White Satin, or Color My World like another woman from the class of '76!!

This is probably for another thread, but I wish I'd been nicer to that girl back then.

Most of us get nicer after a certain point.

That girl I wish I was nicer to was ME!!

I'm not that nice to myself now, either, but at least now I deserve it LOL.

Unless you're a woman from Class of '73!

Plus - you forgot "Lay, Lady, Lay" and "Staircase to Heaven"

So, Lauri, some of the stuff I could make fun of you could help - like announcements from TC Anderson, for example. Wherever you go, there you are.

If you graduated in 73, that means you only went to the "old" high school, right? Seems like we moved to the "new" high school for my junior year (74 - 75). Only makes sense at Choctaw - the "new" high school was formerly the junior high, and the "old" high school turned into the "new" junior high - though how anyone could call that place "new" is beyond me.

And "Stairway to Heaven" - you're talking my husband's talk. The stuff I mentioned was really more of a thing for me in junior high - I mooned a lot more over music at 13 than I did at 16. Heh.

Husband would also scream "KISS!!" if he knew what I was talking about here. Heh heh.

Sorry - should have been more clear - I was riffing off ECO a bit. I am from the "era" but graduated from Northeast HS in OKC.
I'm still stuck in the 70's musically - thank goodness for Serius/XM satellite radio!
