General Growth Properties Inc, the second largest U.S. mall owner, filed for bankruptcy protection on Thursday in one of the biggest real estate failures in U.S. history. Is there any malls in okc that is owned by general growth prop?

I don't expect Quail Springs or Sooner Mall to go away... at least not in the near term... they are not nearly as bad off as Crossroads which has been teetering on collapse for years.

Someone is going to end up getting a couple of good malls at a hell of a good bargain.

It doesn't suck to be the trustee in this case.

You wont see much of a change or any in the OKC retail market. Quail Springs & Sooner Fashion Mall will still be around for years to come.

I don't think we have anything to worry about in OKC.
