I had Lasik done about 6 months ago and I am so glad that I decided to. My vision was 20/400 prior to surgery. The morning after surgery I could see 20/16 and have had no complications.

I went to Eye Care Oklahoma (http://www.eyecareok.com/) in Moore but I did not qualify for Lasik. I felt well treated.

My wife had the surgery done by John Bellardo in OKC. She loves it! She was at 20/400 before the surgery, within hours after the surgery she was able to watch TV from across the room without glasses. The day after her surgery she had 20/15, and has on every follow up appointment since. The staff there was great, even told me how to file it on my medical savings plan so that we don't have to pay taxes on the money that was paid.

i was thinking about it but i have a problem with eye drops so I don't know for sure. I have had to wear glasses since 6th grade but the last 5 years i've been to the Dr. they said my Rx hasn't changed

All I know is I went to three doctors in the U.S and all said I was not a good candidate..went to Canada and Dr. Tayfour had no doubt...He has probably more experience with this than anyone in the U.S...I got the results I wanted and could'nt be happier.

I went to Dr. Wilson at Clearsight Center in OKC. I have three friends who have also had Lasik, two of which went to Dr. Belardo and the other to Clearsight. None of them had any complaints of which I am aware.

has anyone ever heard anything bad about it? all i've ever heard was about how good everyone is doing...there has to be some downside to it also.

Had my procedure with Dr. Wilson at Clearsight. It was a smooth process from start to finish. No complaints. Very thorough staff. They use the latest techonlogy...Intralase. I had 20/20 vision the day after. After healing a few weeks I had 20/10 vision. I love my eagle eye vision. I think I get something if I refer a new patient. Let us know which Dr. you decide on.

Here's a site that lists some risks. They've been reduced to a minimum but
still, as with any surgery, there are going to be risks. Even tonsillectomies
can have repercussions.
