Well Gen/64 what do you think of the "09" Camaro? You know it was slightly copied after a few of the older Camaro's but mostly the "69". I saw the one last year at the Texas State Fair which had been on the Hot Rod Power Tour!! These little hummers really trip my trigger. I think you should shell out some "mula" and purchase me one!! I want the 450 H.P. six speed of course. After it's broke in we could change the cam and injection system and posssibly some better heads and I'll keep it garaged, where it will be in good shape when you come by for a ride!! Sounds like a fair deal to me.....

I hope you were at the Texass State Fair at the appointed date and time!!

If not I will pray for you...................

Oh woe is me.

No wonder this country's going to hell in a hand basket............ :ou :ou2

Sometimes Prunette, Prunerella and I will cook on the bank.

This northsider would like to make a third appearance - this time with a video camera hoping to record your memories and post them at Welcome to OKCHistory.com (http://www.okchistory.com). I might also bring another troublemaker, Doug Loudenback, and MMM has indicated he'll do his best to be our interpreter (though I think I've started to get a grasp on at least part of the native language!)
Seriously, let me know if this is ok. If not, I'm cool with that.

I have to admit that I am proud to have attended the real school on the southside, but, I will also admit that I did cross over to the dark side and marry a Grant girl the first time. All kidding aside, this group is about as much fun as old southsider can conjure up. Again, thanks to all of you for a great time. I do agree that the "institution" was probably just called a school to cover up its real function.

THE MUD SHARK DANCING LESSON!

Lemme tell you 'bout the Mud Shark...
The origins of the Mud Shark are as follows: There's a motel in
Seattle, Washington called the Edgewater Inn. The Edgewater Inn's
built on a pier.. so that means that when you look out your window
you don't see any dirt -- it's got a bay or something out in your
backyard,,, And to make it even more interesting, in the lobby of
the aforementioned motel there's a bait and tackle shop where the
residents can go down whenever they want to, and rent a fishing pole
and some preserved minnows and schlep back up to their rooms, open
the window, stick their little pole outside and within a few minutes
actually catch a fish of some sort that they can bring into their
motel room and do whatever they want with it... you know what I
mean? Now in this bay there's quite a variety of ah... fish! Not
only do they have mud sharks up there, they got little octopusses
that you can catch. And all these denizens of the deep can come in
real handy... Let's say you were a travelling Rock and Roll band
called the Vanilla Fudge. Let's say one night you checked into the
Edgewater Inn Motel with a 8mm movie camera, enough money to rent a
pole, and just to make it more interesting -- a succulent young lady
(Mnaaaah!) with a taste for the bizarre... My mind drifts back to a
meeting, a chance meeting in the Chicago O'Hare Airport where the
members of the Vanilla Fudge told Don Preston about a home movie
they made at the Edgewater Inn with a Mud Shark. I'm gonna tell you,
this dance, the Mud Shark, is sweeping the ocean!...

Hey, you guys are great. It is so nice to have others to reminisce about the good old days on the southside with. We are going to some of our best friends anniversary party in Sulphur, Louisiana. He used to play guitar for Dolly Parton in his and her younger days. 50 years deserves a massive party, I don't know how she could have purt up with him that many years. LOL. We will spend a couple of days in New Orleans after the party. This will be my first time back there after Katrina. Friends tell me that it is not the same and I shouldn't go, but, who am I to listen to common sense.

Once again, while in New Orleans, if you see something with my name on it....leave it...I don't want it back....I will say a prayer for you BowtieGuy.
