Over the last two weeks I have been hearing a new station on 96.5 FM. I have been listening to them for hours at different times and they identify as KTLR AM 890. I have been searching the FCC website for new stations on 96.5 for Oklahoma City and have had no luck. I thought maybe they were a low power station that does not have a listing but even those are listed. For example there is a station on 99.7 that is low power, less than 100 watts and it is listed.

Today I heard spanish programming, then it went to the ETWN Catholic network. I have searched the KTLR web site and there is no mention of an FM station. The station seems to have decent power because I drove from Midwest City all the way over to Yukon and the signal never wavered. Does anyone have any idea what this station is? KTLR is simulcasted during the day but the AM station goes off the air at night.

Try radiolocator.com (http://www.radio-locator.com) type in Norman in the city section It should give you some info.

Thanks. I checked it but no mention of a 96.5 in OKC. I am wondering if this is a legal station. The FCC page usually lists new applications and there is not even an application for 96.5.
