Any word as to what is going in there? Captain D's back? Went by there the other day and it sure looks like it, but no signs.

There was a tiny little sign, saying "coming soon" a few weeks ago, that had the name of a non-food business. I can't remember exactly what, all I remember is my disappointment that it was not another Captain D's!

According to the their websited Captain D's is no longer in OKC. The closest ones are in Owasso, Tulsa or Dallas.

Too bad. Not for the agent, just hate to see Captain D's not returning.

I remember almost 20 years ago my brother worked at Captain D's. I for one sure miss the place.
I had contacted the corp office a few months after it burned. The response I received was they have no plans for another site in the OKC area.:numchucks

Actually, Tom Stidham is moving his Statefarm office from the Heritage Park Plaza (couple doors down from Ron's Hamburgers) to this new location. That creates more empty retail space in NW MWC.
