Mesta Park Historical Neighborhood
More than thirty years have passed since Mesta Park Neighborhood first began its annual historic home tour. Once again, the time has come for Arts and Crafts movement enthusiasts from across the region to converge upon the neighborhood named after Washington, D.C.’s renowned hostess, Perle Skirvin Mesta. The 2008 Mesta Park Holiday Homes Tour will give tour-goers a behind-the-scenes look at how people thrive in these vintage homes amidst the modern growth of downtown.

This year’s home tour features six beautiful, unique homes, including one brand new, LEED-certified, modern family bungalow. Refreshments of warm apple cider and cookies will be provided outside on the grand and beautifully restored porch at 801 NW 17th.

Tickets are good for two days: Saturday Evening Candlelight Tour, December 6, 2008, from 4:00– 8:00 p.m., and the Sunday Afternoon Tour, December 7, 2008, from 1:00– 5:00 p.m.

Tour stops include the following properties:

• 912 NW 16th
