I know Memphis sucks but... We won on the road! 111-103 against the Grizzlies. Hopefully a turn around for us!

Yeah I knew there was a game but didn't check it until the other little game was over. Only then did I leave the TV long enough to check the score online.

Yay! It was good to see that on the ticker while watching the OU game tonight. :Smiley077:):)

I switched over once in a while. We played a great second half, and Desmond really saved the day at the end of the game. Hopefully his elbow is feeling better, as that may be why he missed more of his freethrows than usual yesterday. It doesn't matter if Memphis isn't a great team. At this point in time, any win is a good win.

maybe loud city is so loud at home it makes them nervous?

Actually when we saw that on the ticker during the Bedlam game, we cheered. I'm glad they won!!! Can't wait to go to a game!

Thank God. They were about to break the record for longest losing streak in the NBA.

No, they were about to break the Sonics' record for the longest losing streak. The NBA record is 23, held by the Grizzlies and the Denver Nuggets. So, the Sonics can break out the champagne, as their record holds:wink:, ala the '72 Miami Dolphins.

I was happy to see this, especially after the heartbreak from Friday night. We were soooo close to taking out Minnesota...

We were definitely due a win, and sure, it might have been against Memphis, but it is a road win, so it does make a bit of statement!

And then we lost another one too....By an equally BAD team, yet again.

Did anyone else see how empty Charlotte's arena was? OMG!

Charlotte has many bad things going for it, the economy is killing them right now and could get worse considering they are a major banking/financial city and those firms are in a world of hurt right now.
