Next week is spirit week, and there is a movie character day. The last two times they had this day, I was Hermione (Harry Potter) and a penguin from March of the Penguins (would rather not use that much makeup again!).

I always get stuck with this day. Spirit Day? Easy. Pajama Day? Really easy. Flashback day? Got some tie-dye and moccasins, good to go...but movie character day. Gah.

I'm short, and brunette. Any ideas?

And yes, a lot of the teachers dress up. It's supposed to be a fun week :P

The Joker? Hellboy? Incredible Hulk (I've seen Hulk Hands)

Just thinking of what teens might be into and what the blockbusters were. There's always Kung Fu Panda but the black and white, you've done... lol

warren--MOVIE day. Movie. Unless Sarah Palin has some sort of acting history that I don't know about.

Haha wouldn't it be funny if Sarah Palin had some sort of porn background. Can't you imagine the sound?

Oh yeah...do that, you betcha....

I'm so tired.

A student, who is perfect for that part, is already doing it.

Ah, or you could do Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd, or was she a red-head?

Oh GAWD the Smell!

Here are a few suggestions:

Winona Ryder from "Beetlejuice."
Elizabeth Bennet from "Pride and Prejudice" (not hip, I know)
Rizzo, from "Grease" (hot pants, high heels a neck scarf and a pink satin jacket)

Can't think of any more off of the top of my head. I kept thinking "brunette." Any of these would fit. Probably not as iconic as Batman or others, obviously.

We tend to go to indy flicks a lot so not just tons of over-the-top female characters really stand out.

If you can get your hair to do the following, with the right "goth" looking makeup and black clothes, you can get away with the beetlejuice look. The red bridesmaid dress also helps.
