One thing downtown/inner city OKC is really in need of is a downloadable podcast tour of the downtown core and perhaps nearby historic districts. I know most major metro areas have several to download and often at no cost. It gives visitors a great way to better connect to the city and learn more about it and possibly explore more than they would have otherwise. Any of you techies have this capability? We also need an OKC iPhone app. You'd think the Chamber would have someone working on someone like this, but I guess they're more worried about their suburban football shaped building.......

Do you have an example we could take a look at?

It seems like some time ago in the way-back machine I remember there was someone "out there" who was actually producing one that would focus on the Arts District, Bricktown and other downtown attractions......not sure what happened with that. May have to check sources.

It was attempted; I even provided free help to the couple that tried to pull it off. It's more difficult than you might think.

I haven't seen an iPod app for any specific cites except for transit map applications for really big cities like SFO, NYC, and London.

Ahh, ok, they're audio tours converted for podcast distribution.
