it's AKA Quail Springs Village, they've been improving streets around the site and doing dirtwork but I think they've stalled on it.

This is a great project for this area. It may attract some better retailers to the area. However, the timing is pretty bad. There are very few retailers currently in expansion mode. Everyone is pulling back now. I just read an article stating that Whole Foods was curtailing their expansion plans. I imagine this goes for everyone else too.

Also, if this project gets built, I hope they don't go over the top with the faux Tuscan look. It has been so overused that it is beginning to become cliche. In a few years, our landfills will begin being clogged with Tuscan debris when this architectural fad fades. Tuscan kitchens, Tuscan patios, Tuscan big box stores... sheeesh.

Agreed. Also, If I never see a faux French chateau or Tuscan "villa" again it will be too soon. When everyone gets bored with either look, those houses will be completely dated appearing, and it will be 50 years before they're old enough to be "quaint".

Yeah apparently Quail Springs Village is now called Tuscana. Hopefully it still happens, even if it takes a couple years to get going again.
