Word is Logan Medical Center...aka the "Guthrie Hospital" is going to build a state of the art facility at the northwest corner of Seward and I-35?

Anyone know about this?

This will be a full fledged hospital that will have OB/GYN, Major league surgery ....the whole works?

I don't think it will be that far South. There is "Future Home of" sign in town. Maybe 1/2 a mile of the drive in on the West side of Division.

I know about the clinic you are referring to. Supposedly they are going to build a hospital at Seward and I-35?

Several people have told me about it.

Guess I didn't realize there was to be a clinic and a hospital.

I heard this. I ALSO heard that the Edmond Regional was going to close thier doors sometime in the near future. They have paid Community Church some $ for a down payment on some land they are buying. They are planning construction around the Seward I-35 bridge construction.

I think either way, the odds are pretty good a medical facility may go in over there in the near future.

For those of you who didn't know about the I-35 Bridge reconstruction...

• Construction slated to begin 2014
• Expected to be finished by 2015 with minimal road closures
(about a week at a time only when hooking into Seward).

I've heard a tiny bit of a new Logan Med Center. I didn't hear any details on location or the time table for turning the first shovel of dirt.

Does anyone really believe they still need a sales tax when they are building a clinic and a hospital?
