View Full Version : Tailors?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I'm looking for a good tailor preferably in the Mid-Del area, or possibly near 23rd and Villa. Does anyone have any recommendations?

This may not be responsive to your question in the least, but I generally use "Gina Master Tailor" in 1st National Building, downtown. That may be because I live downtown :)

I just brought her three very nice (top-of the line fabric, hand stitched lapels, etc. ) new suits I picked up and she did a great job with them.

Oh GAWD the Smell!

There should be dozens of them around Tinker.

My father uses Teresa's and has been happy with her work.

Try Sir Charles the Tailor, on Air Depot.

I recommend Sir Charles because you mentioned Mid-Del area. That is who I would choose now that I live in that area.

With that said, I have used both Teresa, by Ingrid's, and Gina Master Tailor in First National. Both are excellent, skilled tailors. Gina will put your button back on your suit jacket in five minutes or less, and tighten up the other ones, for a couple of bucks altogether.

I ended up using Teresa's Alterations as it was very close to where I work, she did a good job.

Hans Herman is probably the most recognized in the city. Not sure if his prices reflect that or not. Probably so, he does most local celebrities and tv personalities.

Also, I've used Balgee's for years. It's on NW 50th, just west of Portland. Stop by Coits next door and get you a homemade root beer while you're over there. Harolds usually sends a lot of their business there. They seem to do a good job for me and are good price.
