Dang, was heading over there to watch MNF, and its closed! They had good food, lots of great tv's, etc. Frustrating! I really liked the place alot!

When I was there last, some kid threw up for about 20 minutes straight...sounded like he needed an ambulance...kinda turned me off the place.

I tried to go there for lunch over a month ago and it looked like it had been closed for a while.

They had an auction late spring/early summer.

The only time I went there was for lunch to watch the big 12 tournament. They had 4 employees in the entire place. I got there to a full house at 11:30 and didn't get my food until 1pm. Terrible preparation, service etc

When they first opened, it was great. Went downhill after that and not long after that, their menu became very limited (to go along with slow service/no customers/etc).

That section of Broadway has been a death sentence for restauraunts. And that was BEFORE they started the construction at Memorial.

Everything but Chili's is always closing. I don't get it because of all the traffic!

Theres another post in this board that explains it I think...the traffic is commuter traffic - the area is a pain to get to from Edmond proper...

Well, there are a few successful restaurants in that area, more or less:

(1) Outback

(2) Applebee's

(3) Charleston's

(4) Chili's

Yep, and looks like the successful ones are ones that are already established elsewhere...but newcomers don't see to do too well...people don't want to mess with going over there to try something new...

I was the AKM when it first opened. The owners and management were very experienced, but they ran it like they were amateurs. I left after a few months when i realized how quickly it was going down hill. The one in Wichita has always done very well, and continues to do so.

They had the best bacon. It was really thick, and it tasted really good. Never had a bacon burger that tasted so good before!

That place was a joke. I unfortunatly worked there for a while.

Nothing ever stays open at that building for more than a couple of months.
