I have heard rumors that LifeChurch is opening in MWC. Possibly in the old Dillards at Heritage Park Mall. Has anyone else heard this rumor? I have checked on LifeChurch.tv and it doesn't have anything about it.

I believe they did buy this property. According to this article at the link below there was no timeline as to when they were going to have services there.

Shows the owner as Life Covenant Church Inc. I wish they would proceed with the planned renovations and open the facility. I would like to look into attending this church, but don't want to drive all the way to edmond or the south side to do so.

It's located in the Dean McGee building downtown between Broadway and Robinson. Service starts at 11:00 AM. Jacob Daddy, yes this is not a rumor but true. I've attended LC for about 10-11 years now, almost since the beginning. There is more info on this in the Lifechurch.tv thread. The church did purchase the building about a year or so ago and has no definite timeline (that has been announced publically yet), to renovate it. I imagine sometime next year I'm purely guessing. Also, at LC we also have a NW OKC campus on NW Expressway and MacArthur, in the old Wal-Mart building. This may be a closer drive for you, or from MWC, I-240 and Walker isn't too far away or the internet campus or 2nd life campus isn't more than just a click away!

No, I am not attending a church. I have talked it over with my wife several times, and the internet church thing doesn't really appeal to me. I would rather be there to get the full experience. It is hard for me to get excited over a podcast. I really like the idea of LifeChurch, and would like to go, but with my schedule as busy as it is, it sure would be nice if there was one two miles from my house! I may have to load up the kids and go to LifeChurch on 240 one day, then report back to my wife.

Yeah, Life Church stole it from New Life Church that is currently inside Heritage Park Mall when they were almost done closing on the sale with Hobby Lobby. Then Life Church swooped in and stole the deal. Horrible really.
