I got the call on Monday that I have an appointment for NBA OKC season tickets on Wednesday, Sept. 10th @ 630pm.

For those getting season tix...when is your appointment?

Glad to see some replies.

I'm aiming for 2 tix in the $10 sections. I wish I could afford more, but at least I'll be a part of the action. I actually enjoyed the seats up there when I went to a few Hornets games.

I'm Monday the 8th at 3:30. Gratefully I own my business and can take off at that time.

I must admit that I'm somewhat surprised more people on here haven't replied.

Is it that those who put their name on the list haven't gotten the call yet, or what?

I'm curious... Are you planning to write these season tickets off as a company expense?

ie ... entertainment or business promotion?

I only have two other employees who will no doubt be recipients of these tickets from time to time. Especially since one is my mom. If any one around us has the pleasure of sitting with me the days my mother or mother-in-law sits with me, I apologize in advance. Just one word of advice, don't leave the game early or you will be severely chastised.

My 'reservations' are on Saturday the 13th at 10:30am. So much for getting my choice center club level seats. According to this mornings Oklahoman all the choice seats will be taken by Thursday. Oh well, I'm not going to shell out big bucks for crap seats, especially when they want you to sign a three or five year contract for them. What's up with that, anyway?

Where did you see the info about the contracts? It wasn't in today's Oklahoman article, as far as I could tell.

My so called 'contact' from the Thunder called me and gave me the poop. The center three sections on each side of the club level will be sold on a five year contract basis only. The two outer sections will be on a three year. For example, sections 207, 208 and 209 will be five years. Sections 206 and 210 will be three. Also, every renewal year there will be a 3% increase for each ticket. I asked him what we will receive in return for such a big commitment. His answer was: Free parking near the arena, easy access to the club level amenities, and some other things I can't remember, so they must be trivial at best. I just hope I can find three good seats somewhere in the middle. Yeah, right. Go Thunder!

Oh...so no contracts for the upper sections. That's cool.
