My mom tald me about this when I was a kid. As an adult this subject fascinates me. I wonder why it never came up in Oklahoma history when I was in high school?

This subject along with the 1921 race riots was mentioned in the civil rights section of Oklahoma history at OU.

fascinating film. nice to be able to sort of walk that mile in her shoes.. I remember Katz. I sat at that counter. I remember when I asked my mama why I couldn't sit in the back of the bus and her shushing me and telling me that was for "colored" folks.
