I've decided to try my hand at downtown photography. So, without further ado, here are my pictures:

Skyline from 5th & Harrison:

Park & Robinson looking east. This is probably the best stretch of "urban canyon" in the city:

Main & Robinson looking north. Also a pretty good canyon:

Here are a few shots from the top of the Main Street Parking Garage:

And, last but not least, the future NBA office/team store in Leadership Square. Not much to see just yet:

Nice realistic shots.

Were these taken earlier today? The stormy clouds are a great backdrop.

As some of you may know, I took a bunch of updated downtown pics this weekend (included some previously unannounced places) and posted them in their respective threads, however this pic was a random noticement when taking pictures at the new Envy Collections clothing store across the street at the Sante Fe train depot. I noticed this bus at the downtown Marriott. How's this for branding us as a "family friendly destination". I doubt you'll see the Chamber or CVB using this shot.

lol

good to see playboy in OKC though. We need OKC to be more than JUST a family oriented town - what about young singles! They represent the urban hip knowledge class OKC is coveting!

Why? Does OKC have an overwhelming need of dateless losers who must rely on a magazine or the Internet? Not sure how having a bus with a playboy ad helps OKC.

They were probably scouting around for Playmates, and let's face it, it's been a while since we had anyone from around here in the centerfold.

does a Playboy bus in OKC indicate the need for dateless losers? Or, does having a Playboy bus in downtown OKC evoke some sort of insecurities you might have traxx.

for the record, two posts ago: I said OKC needs something for everyone, not JUST families - especially if they want to target the knowledge class, which is what the mayor and numerous leaders in the Chamber have set as a goal. Most knowledge class are young singles.

I agree with hotrod, Oklahoma City will only become a true world class city, when we get out of the small mindset. The young are the future of this city. So get used to it.
