The schedule is out at nba.com and we open against the Bucks and our season ends at home pretty early. The only televised game we have is against the Hornets, reminds me of when the Hornets were here and they never put us on tv.

They won't put us on tv much until we're good. The Hornets are on television 13 times this coming year. It's not about the size of the market, as much as it is the likelihood of national interest in the team playing.

I think it's the interest factor of how the crowd will react to the old versus new teams here that got the Hornets game with us televised.

And the OKC team still has a shot to land 90+ games on NBATV that haven't been announced yet

^^ If that happens, Cox needs to roll out NBA TV in HD.

Yea it would be a shame if they didn't... Although I dont have an HD tv so I dont really care.

Anyone know whos gonna pickin up the local games?

Surely the locally televised games will be filled in. Maybe they're still working out contracts with Cox? Why would they spend the money to upgrade the facility with HD capabilities if they were only to have one game broadcast nationally? The radio slot is blank & we all know that WWLS is in partnership with them for broadcasting rights.

Check this out. Scroll over any date on OKC's schedule--let's say for example Sunday, November 2 against Minnesota--and you will notice a hyperlink to http://www.nba.com/thunder/

When you click on it, you get "SORRY, PAGE NOT FOUND."

Why would a programmer take the time to set up these links with a name that has not been officially released...only to replace all the links later? If they were doing that, I would think they would just use Seattle SuperSonics (http://www.nba.com/oklahomacity/)

That's where I'll be "keeping score" with results and attendance this season. When the preseason schedule is released, I'll add that. You can click on any team city to have a look at its arena and capacity.
