You don't have to be an animal lover to appreciate this one. If you haven't seen it, you really should take a minute and a half and watch this one! What a message!

Wow, I think I'll take a trip to Africa and see if I can find the lion that I never had.

Great video. I googled to get the story behind the video. Anyone know if there is a link to the actual documentary?

Thats a great story, but I still would never trust a wild animal, thoughts of the siegfried and roy show come to mind or the story of the guy that "thought" grizzily bears loved him, only to have his pilot fly over his campsite and seeing him being eaten. Sorry to cast some darkness on this video. It is neat though, looks like domestic cat only 400 pounds heavier...

Actually I agree Chef. Years ago I volunteered as a Zoo docent and one night the guard snuck me and another docent in to play with the baby jaguars. I'm sure they would never do such a thing these days. They were several months old and I loved the experience but was amazed at the strength that accompanied their playfulness. One accidentally scratched the guard and drew a little blood and after that they got more aggressive and it got a little scary. Another week older and we would have had no business being there. Well we didn't have any anyway, but it was great. I'm well aware of the danger, and that made this video just incredibly amazing.

When I was little I used to play with my food, deceased though it was.

The less than happy thought of being not too terribly different from a typical menu item for a critter that can out run me and out wrassle me pretty much assures I'm going to be the chap behind the camera, assuming I were crazy enough to be there at all.
