My prayers go out to you, family, friends, and fellow OKCTalk members. Mods, can you add a link for members to donate to help pay for flowers or a fund for surviving family?

This is sad news. I met Misty when she was helping form Urban Neighbors and visited with her at a few early meetings. She was quite a charming and nice young lady and she will be missed.

There is a memorial fund set up. I will check and see if it is okay if I can post those details or if OGTS wants to post them.

Sad news indeed. Misty was a great poster and if memory serves me correctly had fond memories of her time in Austin. She seemed like a very sweet person.

Hang in there OGTS. It's tough to lose a friend. Peace to her, her family and friends.

Wow, that's just horrible. No other way to put it.

Loss is such a strange and awful emotion... My best thoughts and wishes go out to Misty's family and friends.

Thanks metro, I just came in here to post that.

If one of the mod/mins could do me a favor and throw that in the first post, that would be great.

I just saw this in the Urban Neighbors email. Very sad when anyone is taken so young, but I liked Misty so she will be especially missed.

I was out of town yesterday and just read this. I have to say I am in shock. I never met Misty but I could tell from her posts that she was a go-getter and a great ambassador for our city. She will be missed.

Shocking and sad. Prayers to the family, friends, and members on here.

It shows how close a message board can be.

I'm so used to forums having people from across the world. Now, it is sinking in that most of us on here is basically living so close to one another.

I read about this in a UN email and was shocked. I met Misty at an Urban Neighbors meeting and she seemed very sweet.

Rest In Peace Misty.
