A large indoor mall and a big movie theater.
Wouldn't it benefit Edmond to keep the money in our town?

They know that the parents will cart their teenboppers over to Penn & Memorial to drop them off at the babysitter...er...mall, so why bother building in Edmond? El Gato Pollo Loco!!! 06-27-2008, 08:46 AM The big theater I'm with, but not a mall in my opinion. ultimatesooner 06-27-2008, 08:47 AM how long has it been since a new indoor mall was built anywhere? hipsterdoofus 06-27-2008, 01:53 PM They could use a dollar theater...not that it brings in a lot of economic development, but would still be nice. bretthexum 06-27-2008, 02:21 PM I think a nice theater would be great on the north side of Edmond - maybe up by I35. But I think with the Warren coming and the new Quail one we are already saturated. shadow42 06-27-2008, 03:28 PM BOTH......absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Karried 06-27-2008, 03:30 PM I'm thinking in about 10 years, the area near NE Edmond (around 35 - Coltrane) will be similar to Penn and Memorial .... IMHO, the demographics can support retail ... and people are moving North East. au_k9s 08-11-2008, 03:34 PM I'm thinking in about 10 years, the area near NE Edmond (around 35 - Coltrane) will be similar to Penn and Memorial ....
