The Arts Council of Oklahoma City’s Sunday Twilight Concert series begins this Sunday, June 1. The concert is at the Myriad Gardens with rockabilly group The R.I.P. Tides performing from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

This marks the 28th year for the concert series, and the first year that all concerts will take place at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Concerts will be held each Sunday, June-August, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and admission is free. Food and drink are welcome (concessions are not available), but please, no glass containers or pets.

June 8 The Snakeshakers – Blues/Rock/Roots

June 15 Oklahoma City Symphonic Band – Instrumental

June 22 Borderline – Country

June 29 The Non – Experimental/Rock/Ambient



July 13 Thanks for Nothing – Rock/Power Pop/Indie

July 20 Chris Hicks Band – Variety

July 27 Smilin’ Vic – Variety/Oldies



August 3 The Wise Guys – Oldies/Pop

August 10 Shortt Dogg – R&B/Jazz/Blues

August 17 Edgar Cruz – Classical Guitar

August 24 Kessler – Rock/Alternative

The Sunday Twilight Concert Series is a project of the Arts Council of Oklahoma City. Sunday Twilight Concerts are presented by Target with additional support from the Oklahoma Arts Council, Allied Arts, the City of Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department, Myriad Botanical Gardens, and Magic 104.1 – KMGL.

Come out this Sunday from 7-8:30 to see the Snakeshakers. The band sets up on the plaza just above the water stage, facing south. All the trees provide great shade and breeze for the audience.
