I was at Primo's the other day in MWC and saw a magazine I haven't seen before, called "My Midwest City". It looks to be a production of The Oklahoman though...lot of the same writers. Anyway, here's the story.

Midwest City - Midwest Regional Medical Center is scheduled to undergo a $25 million expansion this year that includes adding more than 100 hospital beds.
Plans call for adding a seventh and eithth floor to the main building, constructing a new physicians tower and a child care center, and renovating a former Target store into office and retail space.
The hospital waill grow from 225 patient beds to 360, Chief Executive Officer Doug Arnold said. Laboratory, radiology, respiratory care and food services also will be expanded, Arnold said.
Bed space in the Women's Renaissance Center will increase from 12 to 32, and the center will get additional mamography and ultrasound areas, he said.
The physicians' tower will be at least 80,000 square feet with modern offices, as many as six operating rooms and an ambulatory unity, Arnold said.
The project is a joint venture bettwen the hospital and local physicians.
Midwest Regional Medical Center often enters into partnerships to enhance medical services for the regioan, a hospital spokewoman said.
In Novemeber, hospital officials announced they were joining other metro hospitals to build a south campus for the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Midwest Regional Medical Center is contributing 20% of the $75 million project.

So let me clear up some confusion here though. The writer didn't clearly define the different stories here...I knew about it all and I had to re-read it to get where she was going.
1 (some history) - This is the 4th major expansion of the hospital. The first was then the Mullunix Tower was added (the oval section at 4 floors. The second was then they added 2 more floors to that tower. The third was the new ER on the front of the tower. They also have multiple offices around MWC including: Doctor's offices on Douglas, Women's Center offices on Douglas, the Birthing Center on Midwest.
2 - So progress will finally be made on the Target building which they have owned since Target vacated it. Part of an ongoing project to consolidate offices and connect this lot back across Parklawn Dr. to the hospital. There are a few structures in the way right now that have fought off the hospital for decades.
3 - Im not really sure where they think they are going to add beds at the Rennaisance though. it's land locked and can only go vertical, but I don't think it's constructed for any more than the 2 split levels it has.
4 - The physicians tower APPEARS to be something entirely new from the current hospital. It LOOKS as though they are going to demolish the old part of the hospital for this, but I'm not sure...no details there.
5 - The Heart Hospital on 240 and Sooner hasn't done much yet, so we'll see when that happens.
