Does anyone have a list of polling places/locations for OKC on Tuesday?

You might try the election board. My guess is they are the same locations as any election. I don't think they change whether its a municipal, state or federal election.

Yeah, and do we all get to vote or only OKC residents??

Only those who live within the Oklahoma City corporate area.

Those who live in "true" Edmond (not NW OKC with Edmond zip code), Yukon, Norman, Moore, Piedmont, Jones, Choctaw, Spencer, etc. etc. do not get to vote. Even those who live in Nichols Hills, Bethany, Warr Acres, The Village cannot vote.

It is an OKC-only initiative since it directly affects the sales tax amount in Oklahoma City.

Yes. You are like me, in the "tween" spot! :D We are designated an Edmond zip code by the USPS (Danforth Postal station), but technically live within the OKC corporate limits.

This "tween" spot covers the area in Ward 8 largely between Pennsylvania to Western, and Memorial up to just north of 192nd.

These are the folks that until recently had the zip code 73003, but then had it switched by the USPS to 73012.

Hope that helps.

I believe you have to be registered to vote within the State of Oklahoman, even to vote in a local or "special" election.

You might try calling the County Election Board to find out where your polling place is. The number is 521-9321.

If you voted in the recent bond election, or any past State or Federal election, your polling place should remain the same, usually a nearby church or community center.

I think it would be the church on Western - just North of Walgreens on 150th, but I'm not sure.

Oh, so it would be the same place I normally vote? I just wasn't sure since that is an Edmond location. Thought maybe we had to do something different.

I really don't know for sure.

We should probably call to make certain.

But if the church is near you (150th & Western), and you technically live within the Oklahoma City corporate limits, although have an Edmond zip code, then the church would fall under the same jurisdiction.

The church where I vote is at Western and 178th. I'm sure they'll be open on Tuesday.

Same location. Voting places don't change between state, city, or federal elections.

The boundary line between Edmond and OKC is between Western and Santa Fe.

This is crazy.

Areas that are integral vibrant parts of the city don't get to vote but sections of the city that have more cows than people in it get to vote...

You get to vote in your city issues, that we don't get a say in.
