Between Meridian and everything that's gone in in Yukon around Garth Brooks, I don't know of many restaurants that aren't already in the general area.

It may have been mentioned in one of the other 6 threads on Westgate Marketplace, but Steak N' Shake is building a location in Westgate.

It looks like it will not be hard to find a hotel room in the area after they are done. I do like the optimism that every light in the area will be green.

Does anyone know what is going in at Westgate Plaza towards I-40 and towards Reno. I know Plato's Closet. What else?

What stores are opening up in Westgate Plaza I saw a large addition to the Complex of several big box retailers. A few of the Pad sites in the parking lots are being developed so which restaurants are also being added I assume they are restaurants being their footprint size.

I saw that OKC is getting a New to Oklahoma retailer only Found in Major cities across the US. Its a Novelty type store called Five Below. Everything is $5 dollars or less in the store.

I've been to Five Below in NJ. It's basically an "upscale" dollar store, if one could even imagine such a thing. Meh. Though I'm sure it'll serve a purpose for some folks, so that's good, I guess.

So it's a family dollar/dollar general?

Yeah more in the lines from looking at their social media pages and company website that its a cross between a Dollar Tree and a Party Galaxy.

Five below targets teens and pre-teens primarily.

Has almost 400 stores nationwide but this would be the first in Oklahoma.

They usually come into a market with multiple locations, so I suspect more will be popping up very soon.

They are a solid operator, if not sexy.

Firehouse Subs coming to this complex.

Are they any good?

How do they compare to other sub/hoagy/grinder/po boy places?

Pretty much a fast food sandwich. It's a notch above Subway and compares pretty well to Jimmy John's.

IMO one of the best. I'll choose them over all the other big boys, Subway/Jersey Mikes/City Bites/etc.

Agree. I really like their sandwiches, especially their hot subs.

Just FYI, locations vary - the one on Memorial by Lowe's sucks, very little meat and toppings. The one on 15th/Broadway in Edmond and the one in the old City Bites on MacArthur/NW Expressway were very good the last time I ate at them (hopefully the decline in meat/toppings isn't chain-wide).

I've eaten at the one in Moore a few times... Forget which sandwich I always get but it's one of the hot ones and it's always been a good sandwich with plenty of meat on it.

I think Jimmy John's is a decent sandwich but I think I like Firehouse a little better... just wish the one in Moore had a drive-thru... Go to Jimmy John's for the convenience of the drive thru.

Seen for sale signs went out in front of the Comfort Inn and suites right next to At home on i-40 MacArthur Not sure what would fit there. The signs are labeled Westgate shopping area. I would like to see a CVS or Walgreen myself or even a gas staton. Not sure the land is big enough. DQ would be nice.

One of those walk in medical clinics.

It's actually an Integris Community Hospital, very similar to the one they are building at the SW corner of NW Expressway and Council.

Office Depot.

They announced a while back they were closing some stores.

Not sure about the remaining locations in and around OKC.

What's going in West of Arby's on Reno and MacArthur? (I don't think that's an Arby's anymore. There's a for sale sign in front)17450

There is a Zaxby's building on that site and it is still owned by them even though the restaurant is closed.
