Fill in the blank...

All I want for Christmas is ________________ .

(It's kind of sad, but yes, the older we get, the smaller our list to Santa gets... but still, if you could have one thing.. what would it be?)

The smaller our list gets? My list is HUGE!

And I can find even MORE crap every time I get on the internet.

This looks cool. (http://www.taylorgifts.com/prodetail~itemNo~27931.asp)

This would rock. (http://technabob.com/blog/2007/12/08/robophilo-humanoid-robot-for-under-500/)

The Vertipod! (http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2007/11/vertipod_is_segway_of_the_sky.html)

Think Geek has all sorts of crap too.

Like indoor remote controlled airplanes. (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/rc/93cf/)

Mini catapult and trebuchet kits! (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/science/81e6/)

And I would kill for a real live Rubik's Cube (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/games/69fe/)...Even if there's a new twist on the idea (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/games/9766/).

That's just the cheap crap.

This is what I'll probably buy for myself. (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/universal_remotes/devices/374&cl=us,en)

I'd take a C6 Z06 or a '09 Caddy CTS-V too. :D

I got what I wanted. Too bad I left my camera at the school.

EOS (SLR) Camera Systems - Telephoto Zoom - Telephoto Zoom Lens - EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM - Canon USA Consumer Products (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=150&modelid=11922)

How funny, I just ordered this a few days ago for my boys.

Amazon.com: Rubik's Cube: Toys & Games (http://www.amazon.com/Winning-Moves-5025-Rubiks-Cube/dp/B00081RYNC/ref=pd_sim_t?ie=UTF8&qid=1197228414&sr=8-8)

I guess I should rephrase it... not the older we get... the more kids we have!

Another casualty of having kids.. they get all of the good stuff!

My list didn't get shorter, only more expensive. :)

Within the realm of reality, I'd like the following.
I need a new cordless drill, mine finally gave up on me earlier this year. Here's a nice combo set that I think my wife is getting me.
Craftsman C3 19.2 volt Cordless Combo Kit with RA Drill - Model 11548 at Sears.com (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00911548000P?vName=Tools&cName=Portable+Power+Tools)

I also need a garage tool chest - badly. My garage tools are strung out all over the garage and all I have is an old carry-box and some pegboard hooks to contain it. This is the set I want. I'm not expecting this for Christmas as it's too expensive. Besides, I'm very picky when it comes to tools and such and I'd really rather buy this sort of thing myself.
Craftsman 10 Drawer, 26 in. Combo - Midnight Blue - Model H0162 at Sears.com (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_009H0162000B?filter=Brand%7CCraftsma n%5EType%7CBall+bearing%5ECabinet+Color%7CMidnight +blue&vName=Tools&cName=Garage+%26+Tool+Storage&sName=Chest+%26+Cabinet+Combos)

I'd also like some casual-dress clothes for work and some more jeans. I think I tear up my jeans faster than anyone I know. Barring that, a gift card for somewhere that I can get the clothes or a nice pair of casual/dress shoes (for work again). My old black shoes are looking very poor these days.

Other than that, I can't really think of anything I'm dying to have.

I bought my wife a new stereo for her car. She's had to settle for the factory radio/tape (no CD) for too long now. Here's what I got her.
Sony CDX-GT610Ui CD receiver with iPodŽ connection and MP3/WMA/AAC playback at Crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=300&i=158GT610UI&tp=5684)

As I get older I buy the things I actually need when I need them. There are no items on my "want" list. I have too much "stuff" already...
