I'm thinking about attending, but not sure if the finances will allow it. If I order online, there's almost an additional $40 in 'service' and 'processing' fees. (based on 2 tickets)

I've never gotten tickets directly from the box office. Do those same fees apply there too?

I'm not sure if buying them at the Box Office saves much, but you might call to find out.

I was looking into tickets just yesterday. If you can get away from Club Section, you'll save some money. Regardless, looking at 4 tickets for us was in excess of $300.

Have you tried Ebay? The 3pm show should save some money.

Are you into Hannah Montana? I see they may release a few extra tickets.

Oh yeah. The youngin' and I will be attending the Hannah Montana concert on Sunday. We were able to get our tickets in advance of the regular sale, otherwise we would have been left out in the cold.

We are going with my two sisters and their kids, as well as some other mother's and children. Needless to say, I might end up being the only dad at the Ford Center. ;)

Wow, I cant believe the tickets to this are so expensive. I was considering attending, but not for that price. I will just listen on 104.1... they play the same Trans Siberian song every 20 minutes or so.

Trust me, not the same experience. I got tickets on the floor and didn't think they were bad at all and I'm a penny pincher.

This sounds like an adult version of "on-site child care."

Yes, Floor seats just like last year. The best concert of the year. A light show like no other. And the perfect music to fit the season.

If you haven't seen them before and you have tickets, you're in for a real treat!!!

I promise...

A very good show!!!!

The kiddo had a great time, as did my nieces and their friends. We rented a limo for the event and that made it even more fun and exciting.

The show lasted about 2.5 hours, which is about an hour longer than I had anticipated.

I hate to be a bad guy here...

But why hijack the original thread (twice)? Why not start a new thread about that?
Just curious.

Santa's Helper,

You will find that many times, we will have conversations pertaining to other interests similar to the original topic.

We have found that it builds community and friendships and we don't worry too much about veering off topic.

Considering the original thread starter and poster was inquiring about Box Office fees and ticket prices from Ford... it was a natural progression into other topics regarding concerts at the Ford (especially since I had just heard that Ford was releasing extra Montana tickets through Ford Center) and wanted to share that with the original poster.

If it really bothers you, you can either click Report Post at the upper right hand corner or just scroll on by.

Hope this helps clear it up,

Happy Holidays

Santa's Helper,

Considering the original thread starter and poster was inquiring about Box Office fees and ticket prices from Ford...

Below is all I saw in the thread starter with the topic "Trans-Siberian Orchestra",

Intrepid: Anyone attending this year's concert:

And didn't really see anything about fees or prices in the original thread...

I'll just scroll by the next time.
Thanks for explaining.

Happy Holidays to you too,
