Most Obese Cities (http://www.forbes.com/2007/11/14/health-obesity-cities-forbeslife-cx_rr_1114obese_slide_2.html?partner=yahoore)

I didn't read them all but OKC is one of the few that tells of actual plans on how to combat it.

I don't know who to believe anymore. Now they say fat people live longer.
Stay fat and live longer – survey casts doubt on dieting - Times Online (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article537571.ece)
Fat people ‘live longer after heart attack’ (http://www.martinfrost.ws/htmlfiles/june2007/fatfolk.html)

Maybe I will just be happy and not worry about what "they" say. Of course, an NBA team could energize the city and get people to work out more. In fact, Seattle should have to give us the team for humanitarian reasons.

well of course fat folks live longer after major illness - we aren't relying on hospital food, we simply draw on our own reserves until we can get back to another buffet :)

Well I like that in this case we are on a list with a lot of major cities. They don't try to portray it as just a southern or midwestern thing, or just cites that aren't progressive (Austin was in there). They also used a good picture of us and listed some really good things we're doing to try to combat obesity.
