It's just around the corner. The first event is actually in November on this Friday the 23rd is the annual lighting of the tree in Bricktown. Hopefully next year we can add Oklahoma River ferry boat rides to this list!

Only in Downtown Oklahoma City can you experience the thrill of outdoor ice skating, exhilarating snow tubing rides down the nation's largest manmade slope, water taxi excursions along the winding Bricktown Canal, a magically-lit botanical garden, a spirited 5K run through Downtown, Museum Sundays and plenty of holiday cheer for the entire family!

This month-long family-friendly adventure attracts nearly half a million revelers to the City's 10-block polar playground. Festivities begin the day after Thanksgiving and run through the New Year.

Santa Saturdays, every Saturday in December 6 -9 p.m. at the Tree

Chesapeake Snow Tubing at the Brick
Nov. 23 – Dec. 20 Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, noon – 10 p.m.
December 21 - January 1 Open 7 days-a-week, noon – 10 p.m.
Last session begins at 8 p.m. each night. Sessions begin on the hour every two hours.
First-come, first-served. $10 per 1 1/2 hour session

wow... if there were light displays along the banks of the river, that would be pretty cool. -M

I think I'm going to run the 5k, which is about my max right now. Anyone else plan on doing that?
