Does anyone know about the free tour 'And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead' that was cancelled? Supposed to be tomorrow night at OU.

I heard it was because of the hip hop show that was here a few weeks ago and they had security issues...

My teenager is going to be so Bummed! He had a few friends we were taking there tomorrow night and I just went to the website and it shows it was cancelled.

Anyone know?

The concert is not happening at OU and it was not supposed to happen at all. They wanted it there, but it just wouldn't work out.

Actually, i know for a fact that on OU's end we did not have it scheduled to ever take place on the campus. It was a mix up on their part and when it was found out, it was taken down.

From my days working at the CCMH, I know that often times an artist will post a date on their own website while they are still in preliminary talks with a venue, even though a date hasn't been secured and a contract signed.

Okay, well, at any rate, it was publiized all over the place and there were some very disappointed people.

No, their production needs did not work out with any venue that was available.
