I thought I saw a post about an event honoring Veterans. My mom has a friend visiting from CA who is a Vet and she would like to take him to some events this weekend or Monday.

I can't find anything.

I know Edmond is having an event with the marching band and a Purple Heart speaker but that's it.

I believe that the Marine Corps League, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, et al stand at a podium on the steps of the State Capital and read the names of all Oklahoma Veterans that have died. ALL OF THEM.
