It's that time of year again for World Fest. This is always a cool experience to purchase works of art and furnishings from all over the world and at the same time support a local non-profit that does work globally.

WorldFest offers beautiful handcrafted fair-trade products created by artisans from remote villages around the globe, and will feature many new unique items and cultural performances by international dancers, singers and instrumentalists. In addition, we are expanding the event this year to include an additional shopping day and to incorporate an international education fair which is recognized as an official Oklahoma Centennial event with the following elements:

· An interactive global learning village, offering hands-on education.

· Speakers discussing key issues in international development.

· International cuisine and café featuring World Neighbors own blends of fair-trade coffee

This year’s event will kick off with a gala Preview Party/Silent Auction on Thursday, October 11. In addition to the dazzling array of unique products, the preview party will feature international food and entertainment.

WorldFest shopping, food and education opportunities will continue Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 12, 13 & 14, when it is open to the general public.

For more information about sponsoring WorldFest please contact Meredith Garrett. You can view our sponsorship levels here (.pdf).

WorldFest products are sourced primarily from a network of fair trade importers who are members of the Fair Trade Federation, TransFair and other certification groups. We also purchase crafts directly from producer groups in many regions of the world.
