Casinos are illegal in Oklahoma unless they are owned by Indian tribes.

Yet, I can visit one without ever leaving my house. All I have to do is click on the new banner ad for the Casino here on OKC Chat.

I personally wouldn't mind having casinos being completely legal here seeing as they are already here. What ethical/moral reasons (be specific) do y'all have to gambling. Especially since it is already here? Do you think that laws will actually do anything? Or do you think they are hypocritical while losing the state money?

pokerroom.com is also a fun place to play Texas Hold 'em. Soon, I'll be able to play here in Oklahoma. That and BlackJack. :)

When the casinos are running at Remington and the other tracks, almost the only games that will not be legal are dice based games and roulete.

My former Niece inlaw works at Thunderbird and she said the agreement was to also bring most card james. Blackjack and Poker in particular.

I also asked her if they Thunderbird thought the new law would hurt the Indian casinos. She said no. That makes sense. I doubt the Indians would agree with the terms if it hurt them.

Although I do not consider Indian Casinos REAL casinos, or the ones at the tracks, I will try to visit Remington when they start gaming.

I guess the real question, is morally, how is it different to play something online vs. in Oklahoma? Many people are morally against having gambling in this state. However, I don't think they comprehend the fact that it's already here. Might as well attach a lever (for slots) to your desktop.

I would comment on this, but I think we touched on this when we discussed the lottery around the time of the election.
