From the DOK:

Gov. Brad Henry is expected to announce today an award of $15 million from the Oklahoma Opportunity Fund to help the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation build a $125 million research tower, OMRF and state sources said.

The foundation plans to build the 8-story tower on property it owns near its current location on the Oklahoma Health Sciences Center campus. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2009.

The 200,000 square feet of laboratory and administrative space the tower will offer should bring as many as 300 new jobs to the foundation and double the foundation's research capabilities.
