Hey guys, I am new to this site and let me say I am really impressed. There is a lot of information being passed and I really like it. Ok back to the topic. I am working on a class project and I am needing some old photos of OKC during lets say the 20's thru the 60's (anything really). I would prefer pictures of Downtown if they are available. Any help or information you guys have would be greatly appreciated. I will post the project when it's completed so you guys can see it.

By the way if any of you guys have some neat photos of the city or Oklahoma itself let me know and I may use them. Your not going to get famous by me using them but a few people might see them and I WILL GIVE YOU CREDIT FOR THE PICTURES USE!!!! Don't worry. If you haven't already guessed the project is related to the Centennial.

You can click around people's photos by clicking on the "Photos" link at the top of the page. I don't have too many of the city (except of the memorial), but several folks have some GREAT shots of downtown in there.

Sorry guys I have been busy the past couple of days. Doug, I am needing just one or two older pictures of downtown OKC. It would be great if they were in black and white but any would really help. Also maybe an older picture of the Capitol. I am wanting to show past pictures of say the 30's-50's with pictures from today.

If you haven't already looked, you'll find an abundance of both color and black and white pics at both my blog and and a certain area of my website. Both of those addresses appear below my signature. Most of the "better" (higher resolution) pics are in my blog. Look around and help yourself. I'm assuming that you know how to save an image on the internet to your computer ... if not, let me know in a reply to this message.
