Does anyone know who has the best beer selection in OKC?!?! I am looking for Trappist Westvleteren 12 but I cannot find anyone who carries it. I checked Byrons, Cellar Wine & Spirits and Freeman Liquor on western...

You will not find it in a liquor store. The monks are dead set against reselling their beer. You better plan a trip to Belgium...

Then it was resold against the monks wishes. Whomever had it went to great lengths to get it as they do not redistribute their beer.

Sounds like no chance for the Westvleteren you crave, but Beau's on Wilshire just east of May has a decent all around selection. I buy a Grimbergen Blond Ale there that is very good. Another favorite of mine is a Thai beer . . . Singha.

I've purchased two six-packs over the years of the yellow cap (12) on ebay. Expect to pay $100 for six beers and you'll have to look a lot!

Considering the status of the beer, the limited availability and the dollar/euro exchange rate, $17 a bottle isn't a bad price.

$100 a six pack? Wow....but I guess that is the same as me buying a $100 bottle of wine.

Oh GAWD the Smell!

That's kind of how I look at it.

I've spent more on dumber things :D
