Asking for some help from older OKC posters....

Does anyone remember an ice rink in the late 1950's at 200 NE 48th street? I've found ads for it in US Grant High School newspapers. Was curious what the name was of that rink and if anyone had actually skated there.

Here is the most recent history of ice rinks in the city....
Ice Chalet.....1970's
Starena.....1980's
Iceland.....1990's-2005
Arctic Edge.....1990's-present
Blazers Ice Center....1990's-present

Are there any rinks dating before this NW 48th location (excluding Fairgrounds and Stockyards Arena's way back when)?

Here's some info. on the one on NE 48th. I know there was one at 3133 NE 23rd called the Derby Club as well:

Malibu....

Thanks very much. That's great stuff.

Was the Derby Club around in the late 60's and built with sort of a dome top? I believe it later turned into a furniture store?

I'm guessing the place on 48th didn't have a name other than 'Ice Rink'. Other than the old Oklahoma City Warriors in the 1930's, could that be the first ice skating in Oklahoma City?
