We all know that Primos is open and seems to be doing well at the 240 and Walker location.

City Bites is well under construction as well as a new Jimmy's Egg.

Does anyone know what is going in next to the Jimmy's Egg??

It is definitely another restaurant, the awnings are up and there are signs that say pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. I am wondering if this is an Old Chicago or a B.J. 's.

That would be a third metro location in less than a year for either of those.

Ricky's Grill and Bar??

I have never heard of it, I wonder if this is a first of it's kind.

...as for jimmy's egg, the sign is down from the i-240 & may location, so i'm assuming it's being replaced by this new location.

I was down in that area today. I am happy to see they are finally doing something with the old Taco Cabana.

It looked like they are tearing it down or remodeling the building to match the rest of the plaza.

It is hard to imagine a crappy old bingo hall and a decaying grocery store once stood on that site.

The former Homeland at SW 59th and Walker finally has a new tenant. It looks like a new mexican specialty food market is opening soon.
