Weekend ramp closure at NE 23 and I-235 and beginning of work at NE 23 and Broadway
The on-ramp to southbound I-235 will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 12 until 6 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2007. The southbound on-ramp is at the intersection of NE 23 and Santa Fe Avenue.
The City's contractor will be repairing the brick crosswalk across the ramp at this location.
The City’s contractor anticipates starting construction in the intersection of NE 23 and Broadway on Monday, May 14. The intersection will be rebuilt to look like the recently-updated intersection of NE 23 and Santa Fe Avenue. This construction will result in traffic delays and congestion. The City advises drivers to find alternate routes through this area.
Work at the intersection should last until June 30.
