Default Wi-Fi Hotzone in downtown

Back in October 2005 the OKC Chamber had Issued a Request for Information for a WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK.

The network was suppose to be for public safety use only but the city had indicated it was willing to open to up to public access as soon as security measures had been implemented.

Are there any updates to this project now??
