Default Ipod Ripper

Can someone recommend a good FREE download that is easy to use? My computer crashed (remember) and my son has about 500 songs we have purchased and he has copied from his CD's ... I tried to download a ripper but it wants to put the music into a directory other than Itunes or make me pay for the Pro version to do so.. I removed that one but need to find a good one that someone has used.. any ideas?

It's all his music, nothing illegal. Thanks - I want it to go back to Itunes Library so he can Erase and Synch to use with the new computer.

As a practical matter, things don't have to be in the specific iTunes directory for iTunes to find them; just bring them in from wherever they end up (Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library, both under the File menu).

Thanks, I ended up finding one for $20 that worked great... I probably could have done it for free, but it was worth it to be able to get all of his music back into iTunes library and then Erase and Synch so he can update his iPod on this computer.

In case anyone ever has a crash and wants to put all their music back into iTunes.. this was seamless:

MediaWidget - iPod Transfer Software

Website: Bootstrap Software Development - Makers of MediaWidget for your iPod

You can do it for free. PM me if you ever need to do so.
