My teenager keeps asking for a Helio... what the heck is a Helio? All I know is it's a phone ($300!!! phone - does it do the dishes?)

But before I do any more research on it.. has anyone heard of this and do you have one?

They have phones that are 100.00 w/ 50.00 rebates. It's a phone geared towards having myspace access, advances web services, etc... Geared more towards features teens like.

Son: "Dad, I want a $300 phone!"
Me: "Good luck with that. Let me know how it goes."

I'm wondering if Helio is a separate phone company?

I'd like to hear from anyone - especially a techie or someone who might know something about the brand or service.
