The search for a head coach to replace Walt Harris took a circuitous route and Jeff Long ended up back where he first started the process. Pitt Athletic Director Jeff Long has hired Dave Wannstedt to be the 34th head coach of the University of Pittsburgh. ESPN's Chris Mortensen spoke to Dave who confirmed his decision. He is expected to be introduced to the press at 3:00 PM (ET).
