BCS Predictions?

Anyone think the Sooners can still make it to the Championship game?

You better start believing if you don't already and I will tell you how...

LSU loses to Georgia in SEC title game.

Oregon wins out ends season as BCS #1

OU wins out and beats Kansas or Missouri in Big 12 championship game putting them to # 2 BCS ranking.

And in a perfect world OU wins a squeaker over Oregon but some how I just don't think it will end that perfectly...


Other predictions??

Actually, since Oregon doesn't play a championship game, I think Oklahoma could jump them by beating Kansas in the Big Twelve Championship game, as if Kansas beats Missouri, they will be ranked first or second, and that would be about as quality a win as Oklahoma could have. I'm praying LSU loses to anyone, as the most unpleasant sports experience of my life was the Sugar Bowl in 03, and I'm not sure I could bear the thought of going to NO to play LSU. This all asumes Oklahoma will play better defense than they did yesterday.

Yeah, that's the big focal point. Not giving up a heap of yards to the doormat of the Big 12 would be a nice start.

I've been shocked that Kansas hasn't already passed OU in the polls... strength of schedule, sure, but with no losses, Kansas will no doubt be every sports writer's darkhorse darling until someone shows them what a loss feels like.



*Non-BCS Comment: And on the other side of the state, Tulsa handily beats their biggest in-conference rival to take control of Conference USA West, and no one notices. But that's how College Football works...
