A new website that I hope a lot of OKC'ers will take advantage of. You can list your bike for rent or rent another bike from someone. They are insured, renters have valid credit cards on file --- you know, the details are taken care of.

I've listed mine. Who's going to list theirs?

FWIW: I want to get as many bikes listed as possible. The city is putting in about 100 miles of sharrow lanes and bike lanes in OKC and it is time to push bicycling to the next level in this city. Even if your bike isn't "available" a ton, list it just in case.

I will list mine, although it's designed for people who want to look good on a beach bike, rather than someone who wants performance. I suspect most serious bikers would scoff at it, although it has two more speeds than the Spokies.

Man, I can't imagine lending my bike to a complete stranger. Even with insurance, I love my bike too much.

You get to see their Facebook and Twitter account. Not a "complete stranger" per se but I can understand where you are coming from.

I'm used to it. I use Airbnb which is room or house renting. I love meeting new people and helping folks make a little extra money with what they have.

Oh, there are other things I'd be willing to rent out. But I use my bike a lot and depend on it. If had more than the one(Which I plan on getting) I might rent out a road bike I take to the lake on weekends or something. But my bike right now is a heavily customized workhorse and I'd just get unreasonably cross at someone for adjusting the angle of the lights or the mirror or something.
