That's gonna be a diamond in the rough!
Gardner Tanenbaum is at it again, this time with a proposal to add apartments and townhomes to the site of the old John Marshall High School.
They have a great track record of taking troubled properties (The Montgomery, Lincoln Plaza, Central Park, etc.) and turning them into successful developments.
This proposal looks like a good use of that sad, decaying property. See great photoshoot from Abandoned Oklahoma: John Marshall High School | Abandoned Oklahoma

either that, or the next Lyrewood Lane in 20 years.
It's always boggled my mind that that site has stayed empty for so long. Yes, it borders some transitional blocks but it's also about 30 seconds from some of the highest valued real estate in the city. Seems that the powers-that-be in north Nichols Hills would be anxious to rid the neighborhood of such a decaying eyesore.
