OKC has their very own Roller Derby league now. They are the Tornado Alley Rollergirls. It's a skater owned, all-girl roller derby league. They are members of the Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Association. There are 4 teams. They will play the first exhibition bout this
Sunday, Jan.7th, at Rockin' Roller Rink in Edmond.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, kids 12 and under are free.
You should come out and support them and see what it is all about!
Teams from Tulsa, TX, and Kansas will be here to check out the competition. Come out and show these other cities how OKC stands behind their teams. All 4 teams will be playing full bouts AND there will be a half time show, The OH! Johnny Girls.

Tornado Alley Rollergirls had a sold out event last night!! Their next venue will be even bigger!! You should have been there...lots of fun!! When you come check out the next bout you'll be sorry you missed the first one.

I really enjoyed last night. Crazy times.

Other than the shortage of beer...everything went well. Looking forward to next time.

Sunday was an exhibition bout to introduce Roller Derby and the teams of OKC to the people of OKC. The season starts March 4th. That will be our first league bout. We do a lot of projects with the community as well. You can check out the website for more info.
