Former Sooner Suspended
When will these guys ever learn that they can't get by with using performance enhancing substances?
Former Sooner suspended for 50 games by MLB NEW YORK -- Major League Baseball suspended former University of Oklahoma pitcher Daniel McCutchen for 50 games Tuesday for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance. McCutchen, a right-handed pitcher for the Single-A Charleston RiverDogs of the South Atlantic League, is 1-0 with one save and a 2.14 ERA in seven games. The RiverDogs are part of the New York Yankees farm system. McCutchen also pitched for the Class A Staten Island Yankees of the New York-Penn League earlier this season, going 1-0 with a 1.13 ERA in two games. |
