Wayne Gretzky has been named the new coach of the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL.

This seems to me a really good move. They might just win the Stanley Cup with him at the helm. Any thoughts?

I think hockey is doing anything that comes to mind that will bring fans into the arenas. Gretzky will do that. Also, I'm trying to think of any sports greatest player that became a championship caliber coach. No one comes to mind. But, as they say, as you grow older you lose 3 things , the first is your memory, and I can't remember the other two!! So help me if there is someone slipping my mind.

I'm still mad at the NHL! Boo... there were too many Sunday afternoons that were filled with infomercials b/c they couldn't get their act together! I love hockey, don't get me wrong, but they went way too long not playing. It would be cool to have the Great Gretzky as the coach, though! I wouldn't complain!
